Primatel Communications is one of the premier ICT providers in the country established in 1995. Its early beginnings were specializing in Infrastructure type projects such as the implementation of the nationwide SDH backbone, microwave transmission and other various projects for government and private sectors.

In 1999, Primatel Communications embarked on a ground-breaking joint venture with Jabatan Telekom Brunei to provision High Speed Internet Access by ADSL Technologies
